BITMOVES designed, fabricated, and installed a brand-new LED-integrated reception counter at the Yokota Air Base Bowling Center in Japan — realizing a next-generation operations hub that balances limited staff resources, enhanced functionality, and immersive visual appeal.
BITMOVES recently completed the design, fabrication, and installation of a brand-new LED-integrated reception counter at the Yokota Air Base Bowling Center in Japan. The project was far more than just building a counter — it was about realizing a next-generation operations hub that balances limited staff resources, enhanced functionality, and immersive visual appeal.
Project Objectives
- Enable smooth shoe and ball rental/return operations with minimal staff
- Centralize control of in-house audio and video systems into a single workstation
- Integrate LED lighting that dynamically responds to in-house BGM
- Increase storage capacity for shoes and balls by approximately 20%
- Deliver an eye-catching "Wow" factor for guests entering the venue
What BITMOVES Delivered
Custom Counter Design & Fabrication
Purpose-built to accommodate staff workflows, storage needs, and AV controls — with careful on-site coordination with the client to ensure smooth, real-time operation immediately after installation.
LED System with BGM Synchronization
Installed an RGB LED lighting system that dynamically changes with background music, transforming the bowling experience into a fully immersive entertainment environment.
Integrated Audio/Video Control Hub
Consolidated the management of multiple in-house AV systems — previously scattered across different locations — into a centralized control panel within the counter, significantly reducing staff workload.
On-Site Installation & Project Coordination
Navigated Yokota Base security protocols and site-specific logistics while delivering the project on schedule and with precision.
Results
- Efficient single-staff operation made possible — rental and BGM management now handled simultaneously by one person
- Guests impressed with the counter's dynamic lighting: "The moment you walk in, your mood just lifts!"
- Storage space improved and counter area clutter significantly reduced
- Immediate improvement in first impressions and overall facility branding
Project Significance
This counter is more than a piece of equipment — it is the face of the bowling center, the first impression that defines the entire experience. Designed as a hybrid fixture that fuses operations, entertainment, and facility value into one, it represents BITMOVES' commitment to delivering next-generation solutions for entertainment and public facilities.
